Why subscribe?
To be honest, I couldn't tell you. Substack says, “Subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website. Never miss an update.” I suppose if it is important that you never miss an update on what goes on in my mundane, though never really boring, life, then you should subscribe. Personally, I can't see how it's worth the $5/mo., but that is the minimum they'll allow me to charge.
